Book Review – The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa
I may have found the cutest, funniest, and pretty steamy fake dating romance novel of the summer. BookTok did not disappoint in their recommendation yet again! It was a quick read, which was lovely especially if you are away on holiday or wanting a break from the hefty fantasy novels that leave you in a book slump. From the plot to the characters, this book made me laugh out loud, squeal, and put the book down flushed at the romance happening before me. The part I most enjoyed I would say is definitely the diversity in cultures and experiences that were woven throughout the entire book giving it a realness…

Book Review – The Luminaires by Susan Dennard
It has taken me a while to write this book review, but not for a lack of trying! I have been a huge fan of Susan Dennard for a long while and after reading this book I just wanted to tell everyone about it! I was so obsessed that I started to look up what other people were saying – just to find more readers to gush about it with – and found that the story came when Susan was in a bit of a dark head space dealing with a lot of personal issues. This alone made me love of her more, as if it was possible, and I…

Book I Want to Read in February 2023
Happy February! 💕 I don’t know if it’s the fact that I decided not to put any pressure on myself this year when it came to the things I love like reading and blogging OR if it’s the fact that it has been blistering cold that all I want to do is be cozy inside with a book… OR even if it’s the fact that there are just too many good reads out these days, but whatever the reason, I have been reading every single day without fail and I am loving it! While January was looong and fairly bleak, the whole month felt anything but because of the reading…

Books I Want to Read in November 2022
How has November crept up on us? I swear my concept of time is either really bad, or there is some cosmic mercury retrograde type of voodoo that is making me feel like the days are flying by. Although, the other day I did feel like the start of 2021 felt so long ago… maybe it is me? Either way, I am sooo excited for the books I have decided to read this month. Some all brand new released that I have been waiting to get my hands on and some are books that I have put on previous TBRs and never got to them. Here is my November TBR:…

Books I Want to Read in October 2022
I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again… I am in my complete element in October. I mean we have the spooky vibes, the weather getting cooler, the leaves officially dawning their oranges, reds, and yellows, and the coziness that comes from a warm drink and a classic Halloween movie – speaking of, did anyone watch Hocus Pocus 2… OMG.. I cannot express how hard it was to contain myself watching that entire movie! I loved it! As you’ve probably read in my other blog posts, October holds an even special place in my heart because my initial idea of my WIP (work in progress) book comes from my…

Book Review – The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber
I ran, well walked but very quickly, to my local bookstore to pick up this book on publication day! I even did a cute little reel (my first one!) on my insta which you can check out: @mariamsbookmark This book is EVERYTHINGGG… Honestly one of the best that I read this year and reminded me, as if I needed reminding, why it was my most anticipated release this autumn! I loved it so much that I read it all in one sitting, no breaks for the bathroom or food or anything… even after I finished it, I sat there quietly staring at the wall, panicking on the inside about how…
